So walkable, right near all the main attractions, but the place itself is a quiet respite from the busy bustle of the city. Our hosts were friendly and helpful! The room itself was lovely, with many little details like shortbread cookies, a wee dram to partake, and a perfect set up for tea and coffee. The room was elegant and cozy at the same time!

Chris and Sinead were incredible hosts and made us feel at home from check-in. The breakfast each morning was something we looked forward to each day. It was restaurant quality (wife asked for a recipe) and the soft background music (personal note here) was spot on. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. The property is located near a bus stop, so getting around isn’t an issue. Lastly, it’s a 2 minute (max) skip down to the beach. It’s one block away.

The establishment was quite small - only three rooms - but that only adds to the charm. The rooms are clean, charming, and equipped with everything you might need, with the exception of a microwave and refrigerator. The bathroom was very clean. The owner was an absolute dream. She was nice and very helpful. I had the vegetarian breakfast and it was delicious. There is a bus stop two minutes away which is very convenient if you plan to ride the bus into the city center. The fare for a single trip on the bus, since it is a Lothian country bus, is £3 and you must have exact change to buy a ticket on the bus.

We had a great stay at Glenarch House which is very quiet and in the same time close enough to Edinburg, easy to get to by train (20mn). The studio room was very confortable and comfy with all the facilities you need. Spacious and clean bathroom Glenarch House is a gorgeous property with a stunning garden. And, ice on the cake, Nicola our host was very kind, friendly and helpful.

Ubytovanie Six Brunton Place Guest House sa nachádza v Edinburghu a ponúka bezplatné Wi-Fi, záhradu, spoločenskú miestnosť a terasu. Brunton House was an extremely pleasant experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. Our mattress was a little hard for my partners hips however, this was easily remedied by the addition of a mattress topper. Hilary was very helpful in this matter. The continental breakfast was always tasty and frequently replenished, plenty of fresh fruit and pastries. Lovely coffee as well. Brunton House is easily placed for walking into the city centre and is on the main bus routes if you require we like walking so we felt easily placed to visit new and old locations we had seen before. A lovely stay many thanks.
