The renovations have put the pride back into this historic inn, whilst retaining or enhancing its features First of all, it is the second time I have stayed at the hotel. The staff, the breakfast, the room, the location, dinner...whatever you choose the answer will be excellent.Spotless clean. Perfectly refurbished. I can go there just to stay one night to live the experience again. The staff from the reception to the kitchen are very friendly, and very well trained, and they all have great personalities that create a big difference. I can't thank them enough to show my appreciation. Especially to Max and Andrea. I would definitely go back with pleasure. It is a "must-see and stay" hotel.

We had to departure early than expected due to forecasted storm warning 17th February, Paul gave us the correct information to get to East Midlands airport. The Windsor Trooper is one of the most popular pubs in town, you’ll be presented with a warm welcome before sitting down to have a drink in the pub or wonderful sun trap garden. The bar stocks a fabulous selection of ales, traditional cider, a wide choice of Belgian beers, a fine wine selection and a large batch of gins, there is literally something for everyone. The Trooper also hosts live music every Thursday as well as a quiz night on the last Wednesday of each month. You’ll be hard-pushed to find a better atmosphere in Windsor. Lovely room, enough space for a three people family. Easy to be found. Very nice staff.
