Every little detail looked like a magazine illustration, it almost felt unreal… the breakfast on the terrace was another perfect thing about this place. Alain and Sylvie made us feel very welcome in their lovely home. Our bedroom and en suite had been tastefully modernised and were spotlessly clean. A generous breakfast featuring local produce was supplemented with a selection of home-made jams and marmalades. Superb!

Very modern and spotlessly clean. Superb views from our balcony over the vineyards and rooftops of the charming and quiet village of Solutre. Romain and his staff were great hosts. He even gave us a degustation of his wines - which were superb. Breakfast was like dining at home - totally laid back and casual. There’s also a superb restaurant just 150 meters from the property Les Courtilles de Solutre which Romain booked for us even before we arrived! The area is a wine lovers and hikers paradise with loads of Vignobles to choose from and the Roches de Solutre and de Vergisson to climb.

They are both welcoming and open to sharing their knowledge of the area. Great wine selection as well.
