They went over and above to make us feel welcome and attended to all of our needs. The house is decorated in an old, French, romantic style. The breakfast is amazing and they offered to share nearly everything they had in the house with us. We ended up extending our stay.

Situated in Saint-Fargeau, within 48 km of Chateau de Gien and 38 km of La Bussière Castle, Les Colas features accommodation with a garden as well as free private parking for guests who drive. We had an amazing stay with Linda, Toby and Nelly. A beautiful location for the house, a very warm and friendly atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the very relaxed but entertaining evening meal, starting with canapés in the garden, followed by 3 beautiful courses with a real emphasis on local ingredients and suppliers, plus one of the best cheese boards ever! The breakfast was exactly what we needed, fresh coffee and croissants, selections of cereals and so on. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was immaculate and comfortable, as was the entire property. Even the modern bathroom deserves a shout out, after a long drive a proper shower is always welcomed and this was no disappointment. Overall we can’t thank Les Colas enough for a great stay, with guests also from France and Germany at the table we had a really enjoyable exchange of stories and culture, of course some humour too. We hope to return in the not too distant future and would encourage anyone to stay there too, Guedelon being just up the road is perfect. Merci Beaucoup.

Featuring a garden, bar and views of garden, Château de Pymont is located in Boyer, 29 km from Chalon sur Saône Exhibition Centre. We loved our stay at the beautiful Chateau de Pymont. The property and grounds are beautiful and the chateau has been restored beautifully with character and charm. The location is excellent near Tournus, and hosts Christel and François are charming and hospitable. Highly recommend.

Le Mâconnais Guest House is situated in Vinzelles and has a private pool and inner courtyard views. There is a private entrance at the holiday home for the convenience of those who stay. A beautiful room, very clean, great location, above and beyond welcoming…….great hosts. Super breakfast.

Located in Charolles and only 48 km from Château d'Avoise Golf Course, Chambres d'hôtes La Maison d'Après provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. Alain and Sylvie made us feel very welcome in their lovely home. Our bedroom and en suite had been tastefully modernised and were spotlessly clean. A generous breakfast featuring local produce was supplemented with a selection of home-made jams and marmalades. Superb!

Situated in Solutré-Pouilly, in a historic building, 12 km from Mâcon Exhibition Centre, Chez Romain is a guest house with a garden and bar. Excellent place for relaxation and peace. Great location for exploring the region. We particularly liked the balcony in our room, which has a great view!

Boasting a seasonal outdoor swimming pool and views of pool, Château de Chatenay - Macon is a guest house set in a historic building in Sancé, 3.5 km from Mâcon Exhibition Centre. Great location, beautiful chateau and flat, great host who made us very welcome and went out of his way to make our stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible, great food, beer and wine, the games for children in the garden, the beautiful swimming pool.

Maison Belles Pierres is located in Montagny-lès-Beaune, 2.7 km from Beaune Exhibition Centre, 4 km from Beaune Train Station, as well as 4.2 km from Hospices Civils de Beaune. Friendly welcome. Large comfortable family room for 3. Secure parking. Delicious breakfast. Quiet and pretty location. Great stopover driving to Alps.

Lovely chambre d’hotes, Sylvie is a wonderful host, the house is nice, clean, with a good breakfast. Highly recommended. If you want to visit the Taizé Community, it’s about 20 minutes by car, easily accessible.
