Offering views of the Sierra, Mundo Nuevo Eco Lodge ( 2.2 km and 400 meters uphill Minca) is set in an organic farm with a vegetarian restaurant (one menu) with mainly dishes with fruits and vegetable... The most amazing and beautiful place I have ever been to. The location is breathtakingly beautiful. Food at the property is also excellent.

Located in the centre of Santa Marta, 600 metres from Bahía de Santa Marta Beach and 200 metres from Santa Marta Cathedral, Hostel paradise St offers free WiFi and air conditioning. What a great place! Ideal location- step out the door into the pedestrian zone. I stayed in a large, private room with 2 King beds, with bathroom and A/C. Bed very comfy. Very clean! A large bathroom sink; I appreciated having a fridge...all the coffee I could drink, and hot water for tea (at the reception). The room was very quiet overall - I did not need earplugs! (there will always be a certain level of noise anywhere you stay in Latin/South America in my experience). The receptionist was always "a pendiente". Highly recommend!

Situated in Santa Marta, 2.7 km from Castilletes Beach, ECOCABAÑAS DIOSA JAGUAR tayrona features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, a garden and a bar. The property was amazing with great facilities and relaxing atmosphere. It was a perfect base to explore tayrona national park and surrounding areas. The owners were incredible with such warm hospitality.

A recently renovated property, Rivera Hostel is set in Santa Marta near Salguero Beach, El Rodadero Beach. The air-conditioned accommodation is 2.6 km from Playa Cabo Tortuga. Great family hostel! Super friendly people!

Casa chill out, a property with a garden, is situated in Minca, 21 km from Santa Marta Gold Museum, 21 km from Santa Marta Cathedral, as well as 21 km from Simon Bolivar Park. The property is on a hill, so you can enjoy the mountain view. The owners are incredibly nice and helpful. I’m traveling with my service dog, and they even cooked rice for her. They also gave us little gifts. I definitely recommend this place—it’s very clean and surrounded by nature, even though it’s in the city center

Eco Hostal Kuima is located in El Zaino and features a pool with a view and mountain views. This property offers access to a balcony and free private parking. Anderson and all staff were very friendly and helpful, the hotel and rooms were beautiful and good experience. The hotel dog was so cute :). Thank you

Located in Guachaca, 15 minutes from Tayrona Park, Bohemia Beach offers accommodation, a restaurant, a swimming pool, a bar and a private beach area. There is free WiFi. Kind staff, great value, amazing pool, right at the beach, good and sufficient amenities. Would recommend booking the 10 bed jungle room rather than the one with 8 beds. A place for a peaceful stay but there are several other hostels in walking distance that you can go to for a party. Still, easy to meet other travelers!
