Enjoying an idyllic location between the mountains and the Sarnersee lake, the family-run Landgasthof Grossteil offers fine Swiss cuisine, free Wi-Fi and simply furnished rooms. Quiet and lovely atmosphere in a small village. Very beautiful place. The room was clean and smelled nice. There was a universal plug in the bathroom drawer. And a mosquito killer plug in the wardrobe. Kettle and coffee maker with cups were in the hall. But there are only 5-6 rooms so no problem. The staff were wearing local clothes which were very lovely.

Offering a restaurant, Landgasthof Schlüssel Alpnach is located in Alpnach, at the foot of Pilatus Mountain. Free WiFi access is available. The room was simple, but very pleasant and clean. The staff was extremely nice and helpful!

Berggasthaus Tannalp is located at 1,976 metres above sea level, 1 to 2 walking hour away from Melchsee-Frutt, surrounded by nature and mountains. The Tannensee lake is 600 metres away. The location high in the mountains and far away from busy tourist stops was to its advantage. The endless views across the alpine area was extraordinary. The dinner and breakfast in cute eating area well served with friendly precision was memorable. Very clean and typically Swiss Mtn decor perfect for our family trek on Via Alpina trail.

Located right on the shore of the scenic Eugenisee Lake, Pension St. Jakob is 800 metres from the centre of Engelberg and a 5-minute walk from the Engelberg Cable Car. The room that was given was a Bigger room than the expected one. It was more spacious and comfortable. Me and my friends enjoyed the stay. The Location is near to the train station. The Breakfast was Excellent. Having stayed here before in 2017, I preferred to stay again. Special meal was cooked in 2017 on my Son's Birthday and on my request it was cooked again this time (It happened I was in Engelberg on same dates again)

Located opposite the train station in the peaceful town of Giswil, Hotel Bahnhof is just a 20-minute walk from Lake Sarnen. It features a restaurant and a large garden. Situated right across the Giswil train station and accessible to every point around, this hotel with its great location offers spacious rooms, a very comfortable bed, great modern amenities and a perfect ambience in a century old, but very well maintained building. Everything is so well thought of that one wonders what can go wrong... Except breakfast.
