Very accommodating hosts in a beautiful location midway between Interlaken and Lucern. Absolutely stunning views. Rooms were spacious and very clean. One room was beautifully remodeled, the other two were older but still very nice. The historic guesthouse is family owned and run and the love this family has for their guests is very evident. We had a travel delay that kept us from arriving while the restaurant was still serving dinner, but the hosts offered to make us cold sandwiches to have when we arrived. When we arrived, they had the sandwiches ready and offered a few other options (salad, appetizers), which was greatly appreciated!

Great location, right beside the beautiful mountains. Great staff. Breakfast was very enjoyable.

Guests at the guest house will be able to enjoy activities in and around Alpnachstad, like hiking. The property was pretty and in a nice little area, which I loved. It was close to the train station so therefore I was able to go to Luzern really easily.

Berggasthaus Tannalp is located at 1,976 metres above sea level, 1 to 2 walking hour away from Melchsee-Frutt, surrounded by nature and mountains. The Tannensee lake is 600 metres away. Free WiFi is available in some areas. The location high in the mountains and far away from busy tourist stops was to its advantage. The endless views across the alpine area was extraordinary. The dinner and breakfast in cute eating area well served with friendly precision was memorable. Very clean and typically Swiss Mtn decor perfect for our family trek on Via Alpina trail.

Located right on the shore of the scenic Eugenisee Lake, Pension St. Jakob is 800 metres from the centre of Engelberg and a 5-minute walk from the Engelberg Cable Car. All rooms have a balcony overlooking the mountains, and free WiFi is available.

The hotel's own Espen restaurant serves traditional Swiss cuisine and products from the hotel's own farm. When booking a half board rate, a 3-course dinner is included. Clean, pleasant room. Good breakfast in the restaurant opposite. The hotel reception is located in the hotel opposite Espen. If the reception is closed, use the emergency phone.

All of the simply furnished rooms at Hotel Bahnhof offer picturesque views over the surrounding countryside. Breakfast was good, lots to choose. The location has ups and downs. Although it is located near popular locations, you need a car to drive around. On the other hand its really quiet there. The balcony view is all nature.

Most of the rooms offer panoramic views. Wonderful hotel. We got an upgrade, so many xmas presents, an unforgettable view and priceless memories. Everything was excellent.

The centre of the village is reachable within a pleasant 15-minute walk and in winter the ski bus brings you to the train and cable car station for free. The bus station is reachable on foot in 4 minutes. In winter, please take bus stop Heimat, in summer please take bus stop Brunni. Those bus stops also are the correct ones coming from the train station. The views were unbeatable! The staff was so kind and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. I couldn’t have asked for anything more.
