Quiet and lovely atmosphere in a small village. Very beautiful place. The room was clean and smelled nice. There was a universal plug in the bathroom drawer. And a mosquito killer plug in the wardrobe. Kettle and coffee maker with cups were in the hall. But there are only 5-6 rooms so no problem. The staff were wearing local clothes which were very lovely.

Gasthaus Schwand asub Engelbergis, 5,6 km kaugusel Titlis Rotairi köisraudteest. Kohapeal on aed, tasuta eraparkla, terrass ja restoran. The location is on uphill. Driving to the guesthouse is adventurous at least for non hills driving people. Very nice view of Alps form there. Dinner with very delicious home made / local specials

Ühise puhkeruumiga Budget rooms Pilatus - Alpnachstad asub Alpnachstadis, 15 km kaugusel Lõvisammast, 16 km kaugusel Luzerni KKL kultuuri- ja konverentsikeskusest ning 16 km kaugusel kabelist. The property is new and very cozy and clean. There are two more rooms with whom you have to share the bathroom but it is a big and clean modern bathroom. There is also a living room with TV and coffee station for common use. Everything looked new and clean, we felt really home, would highly recommend.

Berggasthaus Tannalp asub 1976 meetri kõrgusel merepinnast, 1-2-tunnise jalutuskäigu kaugusel Melchsee-Fruttist ning seda ümbritsevad loodus ja mäed. Tannensee järv on 600 meetri kaugusel. The location high in the mountains and far away from busy tourist stops was to its advantage. The endless views across the alpine area was extraordinary. The dinner and breakfast in cute eating area well served with friendly precision was memorable. Very clean and typically Swiss Mtn decor perfect for our family trek on Via Alpina trail.

Pension St. Jakob asub maalilise Eugenisee järve kaldal, Engelbergi kesklinnast 800 meetri ja Engelbergi köisraudteest 5-minutilise jalutuskäigu kaugusel. Kõikidel tubadel on mäevaatega rõdu. The location and amazing service

Hotell Bahnhof asub rahulikus Giswili linnas rongijaama vastas, vaid 20-minutilise jalutuskäigu kaugusel Sarneni järvest. Kohapeal on restoran ja suur aed. Breakfast was good, lots to choose. The location has ups and downs. Although it is located near popular locations, you need a car to drive around. On the other hand its really quiet there. The balcony view is all nature.

Gasthaus Paxmontana asub Flüeli-Ranfti kesklinnas ning pakub panoraamvaateid Sarneri järvele, Oberwaldi mägedele ja Melchi orule. We stayed in a triple room in the Paxmontana Gasthaus although breakfast and welcome drink were offered in the main hotel. The location is wonderful. We were so happy we booked that hotel in this peaceful location surrounded by this beautiful greenery and walking paths. The staff is very efficient and kind. Our room in the Gasthaus was very comfortable. We definitely enjoyed our stay there

This is an absolutely superb place! It is in the perfect location to reach all the interesting spots in Engelberg, yet it is also placed a bit outside from the bit busy center, so you can really enjoy the peacefulness of the mountains. A wooden house, with only about 10 rooms, it further contributes to the cozy atmosphere (especially appreciated during the pandemic times). The staff was super helpful. Breakfast was delicious, especially since it s possible to eat it with the view on the beautiful mountains!
