The spacious rooms at Gasthaus zum Kreuz are non-smoking. All feature wooden furniture, cable TV, and a bathroom. Breakfast was nutritious, wholesome and absolutely delightful & refreshing. The fresh bread were awesome, amazing fuit juice and delicious warm chocolate drink with fresh eggs. All in the welcoming ambience of a traditional boutique dinning kitchen.

You can play mini-golf at the guest house, and the area is popular for windsurfing and cycling. Guests at Ferien-Sempachersee Sandra Sens can enjoy fishing and hiking nearby, or make the most of the garden. We liked everything at Sandras' place: It is a cosy very well equiped place with a kitchen an dining room, the supermarket, restauranta and cafes are in a short walking distance away. The location is perfect. We had the Gold room which has got two windows. All rooms have got the view to the lake. Sandra is a wonderful host. We came with the public transportation (train and bus), which functions exellent in Switzerland. I highly recommend this place especially for couples.

The stylish Wanderlust Guesthouse is located in Weggis, 200 metres form the lake and at the foot of the Rigi mountain. Free Wi-Fi is featured throughout the property. Lucerne is a 30-minute drive away. We had an absolutely amazing 5 nights' stay at Wanderlust Guesthouse. The cleanliness was superb, even the shared bathroom that we had to use was always in a perfect condition. The shared bathrooms are also spacious and modern. The staff there are doing an incredible job to be hands on with this beautiful accommodation. The location is wonderful and only 120m from the Weggis Neubüel busstop and Migros and COOP supermarkets. Also easy and quick walk to the ferry port. Definately recommended to fellow travellers. Thanks for a most fantastic stay on our Switzerland trip!

Family-run for over 350 years, this traditional country hotel in Triengen is 8 km from Sursee and 30 km from Lucerne. Each room has a balcony and offers free Wi-Fi.

The Rössli’s traditionally furnished rooms feature cable TV, an electric kettle, and a bathroom with hairdryer. All rooms are located in an annex next to the main building. Very friendly people! I came quite last-minute but they had my room ready. It was large with a good bathroom, very clean and a good bed. Included breakfast was way too much for one person, but better too much than too little. Free parking as well. The single-occupancy price was very good for Switzerland standards which made this perfect for me. I cannot comment on regular pricing.

This hotel is situated in Meggen, just 700 metres away from Lake Lucerne. It offers an Italian restaurant with garden terrace. All rooms have a bathroom and cable TV.

Pasta dishes, pizza and risotto are served at Ristorante Schlössli. Homemade desserts include tiramisu, panna cotta with blueberries and chocolate mousse. Everything was as it should be, clean and nice. The garden was also good. The atmosphere nearby was also worth seeing, I would like to be there once more!

The Garni-Hotel Frohburg enjoys a quiet, lakeside location in the centre of Weggis. All rooms have a balcony facing the lake, and WiFi is provided for free.

All rooms have an en-suite bathroom, a flat-screen TV, and panoramic views of Lake Lucerne and the Alps. We were offered to stay at Hotel Central am See and again in an upgraded room with a full lake view in front of us (including the bathroom). And the breakfast was marvellous including a fresh cooked egg as per our wish!

The Sonnenberg Hotel in Kriens offers panoramic views over Lake Lucerne, the mountains and the forest, a Nespresso machine in every room, seasonal cuisine and free WiFi.

Guests can enjoy panoramic views from the on-site restaurant´s winter garden or terrace. A large network of hiking trails surrounds the hotel and a 18-hole mini golf course and a playground are there as well. Absolutely stunning views, great location near Kriens (where gondolas and cable car to Pilatus leave from), comfortable rooms with lovely views and balcony with chairs and table, free minigolf and playground, free fruit for guests, ample free parking and 2 x 22KW chargers for electric cars. Last but not least, a fabulous and v reasonable Michelin quality fine dining menu in the restaurant (with wine from a vineyard we could see from the terrasse). Would highly recommend for anyone visiting the Luzern region
