Permet is probably the best small town in Albania, and the family at Mosaic house showcase all that is good about it. There is a wonderful welcome from Genti and his family in their beautiful garden home. They put the UN to shame because they cover Italian, French and English, so can put a host of guests at ease. Polina has fantastic English and a great sense of humour. The room was homely and comfortable with a generous bathroom, but if you are loitering in the guest house it will be in their marvelous courtyard/garden. You'll be served a quick treat there on arrival (their own Gliko). and its where a lovely breakfast is served. It's a short walk into the main street, but Mosaic House is actually in the most historic part of Permet, so there are also sights nearby.

An absolute highlight in accommodation in Albania. The road up there is really a challenge, our borrowed little Fiat had a bit of a problem and needed a bit of help from us. Anyway, the view was definitely worth it, and what about the dinner?! The lady of the house cooked us a huge and delicious dinner and breakfast. All the owners were very nice. The building itself is over 100 years old and is truly unique and beautiful. We regret that we only stopped for one night, we will definitely make it longer next time.

Such a cute little guest house! The owner was super sweet. Her English wasn't great, but we managed to get all the information we needed. It was very nice and quiet, so we enjoyed sitting outside while playing some games. The host saw us and brought some homemade snacks and drinks, which was lovely. The next morning, she made us breakfast, which was also delicious. It's quite close to the thermal baths, so if you want to visit those, I can definitely recommend this accommodation.

It’s a very special guesthouse, up in the mountain. So peaceful. Such a beautiful view out. A great hike there and back. The guest hosts were so kind to me when I was unwell, bringing me tea with honey and lemons. They made delicious traditional breakfasts and dinners.

Nice place. A few minutes walk from the city center, it is a villa that all the rooms was refurbished nicely and become an apartment guesthouse.

Very nice and very clean room. Great location near the city center but also in a very quiet, in fact tranquil location with beautifully landscaped yard and outdoor dining/sitting area. Wonderful breakfast was also served and our host was informative and sharing in his knowledge of the city and its history. We could not have been more pleased with our stay.

We had a great stay at the Eagle guesthouse! The location is perfect with amazing views over Permet and the river valley, while being in an exceptionally quiet location. The apartment is fitted with everything you could need for a comfortable stay and has plenty of space to relax in. The hosts greeted us warmly and gave us a sweet, local treat when we arrived and made sure that we were settled in.

The guest house is in a great location, just a short walk to the town centre, all felt very safe and clean. The host was absolutely lovely, and made a great traditional breakfast each morning which we enjoyed in the beautiful and calm garden. We also managed to purchase some of the lovely homemade produce from the host (preserves and raki).
When staying in or around Permet, staying at the Chri Chri guesthouse is a must.
