Brand new and modern renovation of a historic building with absolutely the most comfortable beds. Friendly and helpful staff. Incredible value for the money. This place looked like a chic Manhattan hotel and was walkable to all Ponta Delgada sights. Did I mention the food? We stayed for lunch as the breakfast was so exceptional.

With pool views, this accommodation offers a balcony and a swimming pool. beautiful garden good house condition and equipment nice and friendly landlord we arrived at late evening and were surprised to found everything for breakfast

Situated just 23 km from Pico do Carvao, Casa Branca features accommodation in Lagoa with access to a garden, barbecue facilities, as well as a shared kitchen. They helped us a lot , everything was of great standard , better than most hotels, especially at that price range

The old quinta is a true gem and the apartment felt very homely, with all the neat and well selected decoration, the nice wooden floors and the harmonic ambience. Beautiful views and a lush garden, also a great location to explore all parts of the island, the best spots for hot volcanic baths are also very close! We stayed with a four year old and a little baby and would say its a perfect spot to travel with your family and will definitely recommend this place to our friends.

Centrally located in Sao Miguel Island, this property is set in the quiet area of Vila Franca do Campo. Muni obrigada, Miguel for this nice time, the magical view and the natural pool. Miguel is a very helpful host. It was nice to see our child and her friend.

Moinho das Feteiras has sea views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Feteiras, 15 km from Pico do Carvao. We liked the house, the garden and our privacy. The breakfest was delivered each day and with lots of options. Catarina was really nice and very communicative. We can only recommend this property, but maybe next time it would be nice to get other house with a better view at the ocean.

Situated in Ponta Delgada and only 11 km from Pico do Carvao, Monte Ingles features accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. Absolutely everything. We loved staying for 3 nights with Caroline, her dogs and her horses. We wish that it had been longer. Caroline is an amazing woman and an inspiration. Her home and gardens are beautiful and in a perfect location outside of the city for exploring Sao Miguel and when coming from or going to the airport. Coffee, tea, cookies and fruit were always available.

The Convento de São Francisco is a built in a 17th century Franciscan convent. It is a fantastic location and is very tastefully decorated. Modern but keeping the historic charm of an old Monastery. The staff are incredibly helpful and accommodating as well. Loved our stay.

The Quinta de Santa Clara is a cozy property, 22 km from the famous Lagoa do Fogo, the highest lagoon in São Miguel Island. An amazing place in an excellent location for trips in the area. Wonderful, caring staff, everything was great! Highly recommend
