Lovely little suite in a beautiful country setting. Although compact, the space was clean and comfortable. Comfy bed. Breakfast was not only provided but there was also ample and sufficient choice. Warm, hospitable hosts. The warm welcome provided by the resident cat “Snowdog” was purrrrfect!

Super friendly and cheerful. He told us many interesting things about local flora and fauna. The room was super comfy and breakfast delicious. In the morning we tried to milk cows at the neighbor farm and then climbed on Tokatoka mountain with incredable view.

Very tidy, great location and the bowl of fresh fruit on the way in was a fantastic gesture. Having met up with the Labradoodle and their owner (one of the hosts) after dinner out we were even happier with our choice.

Matamata Country B&B situa-se em Matamata, na região de Waikato, e tem uma varanda e vista da montanha. This place was the best of all my NZ stays! It was perfect: plush (everything high quality), super clean and modern. Loved the fresh baked bread and homemade goods. Staff was wonderful. Location was beautiful and convenient.Would definitely stay here again!

Com vista da montanha, Te Karaka Lodge situa-se em Port Waikato e possui um restaurante, um salão partilhado, bar, jardim, piscina exterior aberta todo o ano e terraço. Everything is perfect about this place. The road from Auckland to the property was a bit rocky but totally worth the trouble. It is such a quiet relaxing hideaway and this is what I have always envisioned of NZ. Aaron and Danielle are wonderful hosts and make you feel welcomed and at ease the whole time. The dinner prepared by Chef Dom is also superb. Have to come back again for a longer stay!
