Mohaonui Farmstay offers a cottage unit 6 km from Otorohanga township. The private, self-contained cottage features a kitchenette and a private bathroom. Our hosts were wonderful. Their cottage was clean, well stocked and lovely. They were helpful with information and we lived our farm tour.

Featuring free WiFi and a barbecue, Tokatoka views Farmstay offers pet-friendly accommodation in Ruawai. Free private parking is available on site. Some units have a seating area where you can relax. This stay was a highlight of our trip around North Island. Comfortable and clean accommodations but your added bonus are the Owners Peter and Sarah who not only made us a fantastic meal but showed us their beautiful farm animals and shared their lives. If you love to play games (rummykub, card, etc) this is your place! We cannot wait to come back!

Featuring garden views, FreeFall Hut provides accommodation with an open-air bath and a balcony, around 16 km from McLean Park. So many personal touches. Absolutely everything you could need. Bed so comfortable with beautiful linen. Fire pit ready to light, with wood ready to stoke. Fresh flowers in the bathroom, the list goes on....
Te Kuiti
Situated in Te Kuiti, within 21 km of Waitomo Glow Worm Caves, Hunts Farm - Te Kūiti offers accommodation with air conditioning. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking. This was the best property we stayed in on our 2 week road trip around Nth Island of NZ. And we stayed at some posh places (5 Star, etc.). Blown away with this farm stay. Such a lovely people. Great accommodation with every amenity. So peaceful and relaxing. If you're visiting Waitomo caves of anywhere in the area - Stay here. It's beautiful

Country View Sleepout, a property with a garden and a terrace, is situated in Hamilton, 13 km from Waikato Stadium, 14 km from Hamilton Gardens, as well as 27 km from Mystery Creek Events Centre. Nice cosey, room nice in dark with curtain drawn and beautiful sunlight when opened

Featuring accommodation with a saltwater pool, Rural Gordonton Sleepout is set in Hamilton. This property offers access to a patio and free private parking. Nice owners. The space is spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. We decided to make a detour to Hamilton for fine dining. Grateful to the owners who nicely received us even though we had booked in the very last minute.

Located in Upper Hutt and only 32 km from Westpac Stadium, Beautiful Rural Oasis provides accommodation with mountain views, free WiFi and free private parking. Location was beautiful, peaceful and green
Matamata
Featuring air-conditioned accommodation with a patio, Matamata Country B&B is set in Matamata. This property offers access to a balcony, free private parking and free WiFi. This place was the best of all my NZ stays! It was perfect: plush (everything high quality), super clean and modern. Loved the fresh baked bread and homemade goods. Staff was wonderful. Location was beautiful and convenient.Would definitely stay here again!
Port Waikato
A good location for a relaxing holiday in Port Waikato, Te Karaka Lodge is a farm stay surrounded by views of the mountain. Everything is perfect about this place. The road from Auckland to the property was a bit rocky but totally worth the trouble. It is such a quiet relaxing hideaway and this is what I have always envisioned of NZ. Aaron and Danielle are wonderful hosts and make you feel welcomed and at ease the whole time. The dinner prepared by Chef Dom is also superb. Have to come back again for a longer stay!
