Country View Sleepout, a property with a garden and a terrace, is situated in Hamilton, 13 km from Waikato Stadium, 14 km from Hamilton Gardens, as well as 27 km from Mystery Creek Events Centre. I booked my mum and dad in there to stay at short notice with their two dogs. They said the owner was lovely. The dogs were welcome, the rural location was perfect, and room was just right. Thank you!

The space is spotlessly clean and nicely decorated. We decided to make a detour to Hamilton for fine dining. A good location for a relaxing holiday in Port Waikato, Te Karaka Lodge is a farm stay surrounded by views of the mountain. Everything is perfect about this place. The road from Auckland to the property was a bit rocky but totally worth the trouble. It is such a quiet relaxing hideaway and this is what I have always envisioned of NZ. Aaron and Danielle are wonderful hosts and make you feel welcomed and at ease the whole time. The dinner prepared by Chef Dom is also superb. Have to come back again for a longer stay!
