Extremely hospitable and helpful hosts who connected us to a great guide (Alejandro) who took us to Los Nevados national park. The flower garden with views of the Andean foothills is very pleasant and the hammock patio that surrounds the house is a great place to relax. If you want a place to stay that feels like you're welcomed into a nice rural home then this is a great option. There is also a pair of modest outdoor bar/restaurants a short walk away for watching the sunset or looking at the lights of Manizales.

The time that i spent at the finca was definitely the most memorable experience I had during my entire trip to Colombia. First of all this is not a hotel, this is Jorge and his beautiful wife's house. You share a day in their lives and experience the real coffee farm life with them and they definitely go out of their way to make u feel welcome and comfortable. There are only 3 rooms in the house so if you are lucky enough to find an available room, don't hesitate and book it! The finca is surrounded by coffee trees. The price you pay includes a traditional breakfast, a coffee farm tour as well as a real Barista class where you get to make coffee with 5 different tools and have a tasting afterwards with Jorge. There are plenty of nice hikes aronud the house as well and absolutely no other tourists around. They were very kind to prepare a traditional lunch and give me a ride back to chinchina too. If you are after a real coffee experience and no touristy stuff, i recommend you choose to stay with them and witness a day in their life.

Nastanitev Finca Hotel Villa Clara se nahaja v mestu Chinchiná in ponuja zunanji bazen, vrt, skupni prostor za druženje, teraso, opremo za vodne športe ter razgled na mesto. We could write a long list of things that we loved about this property. To start, the grounds and view are absolutely stunning. We could see all the way to Manizales from the property! Our kids spent hours playing on the swing set, playing soccer, playing billiards, and swimming in the pool. In the evenings we watched Netflix in the room. The staff were so helpful and friendly, and Carolina, the host, went above and beyond to make sure our stay was memorable. She even took us on a tour of the coffee farm for a reasonable fee. We learned so much, had fun, and got to taste different varieties of amazing coffee! We ate every item on the menu at the on-site restaurant, and each was deliciously prepared by Lilianna, who adapted items for a vegetarian family member, and was so patient with our poor Spanish. We were very comfortable in our big room and the beds we so comfortable, when sharing with our kids we couldn't tell when they were rolling over. We slept, ate, and spent time well at Villa Clara. Highly recommended!

I came for one day and stayed for four. This is an amazing spot in the hills around Riosucio. The staff were very friendly and helpful despite my limited Spanish. Thank you guys so much for having me and making this my favourite part of my travel in Colombia <3 The biannual Carnival del Diablo was on while I was in town. Very little information online but there were thousands of people there, and everybody was having a great time together. Lots to keep busy. The "glamping" tents out the back of the lodge are incredible. They're next to a little stream and very comfortable. There is a bus that runs every hour and a half into town and back. You can catch it near the main square, or ask one the taxis or scooters to take you up for around 10,000 pesos, if I remember correctly.
