Situé à Villamaría, l'établissement Las Hamacas (Hospedaje Rural) dispose d'un jardin, d'un bar, d'un barbecue et d'un salon commun. Extremely hospitable and helpful hosts who connected us to a great guide (Alejandro) who took us to Los Nevados national park. The flower garden with views of the Andean foothills is very pleasant and the hammock patio that surrounds the house is a great place to relax. If you want a place to stay that feels like you're welcomed into a nice rural home then this is a great option. There is also a pair of modest outdoor bar/restaurants a short walk away for watching the sunset or looking at the lights of Manizales.

Très beau cadre, beau jardin, belle maison "hôtel" dominant la vallée de Manizales. Très bonnes infrastructures: piscine, terrasses, transats.... Chambre spacieuse et très propre. Repas demandé à notre arrivée tardive mais préparé rapidement par la propriétaire (et très bon) Bon petit-déjeuner aussi. Conseils pour poursuivre notre route.

I came for one day and stayed for four. This is an amazing spot in the hills around Riosucio. The staff were very friendly and helpful despite my limited Spanish. Thank you guys so much for having me and making this my favourite part of my travel in Colombia <3 The biannual Carnival del Diablo was on while I was in town. Very little information online but there were thousands of people there, and everybody was having a great time together. Lots to keep busy. The "glamping" tents out the back of the lodge are incredible. They're next to a little stream and very comfortable. There is a bus that runs every hour and a half into town and back. You can catch it near the main square, or ask one the taxis or scooters to take you up for around 10,000 pesos, if I remember correctly.
