The staff were friendly, helpful and the breakfast spread was amazing! Loved the beautifully styled interiors and they have a spectacular rooftop terrace where you can view the entire city from. We also had a lovely view from our window from the 2nd floor terrace room. They have a number of event spaces where you can host private dinners/ gatherings.

The bed was very comfortable and you can request different types of pillows from housekeeping. The hotel staff and owner were very kind. We wished we could stay longer!

My daughter and I had an exceptional stay. The staff went over and above to make us feel welcome. They advised us on what attractions to visit and provided a variety of suggestions. One staff member discovered it was my birthday and provided a gorgeous birthday dessert that was delivered to my room. Such a lovely gesture! The room and facilities were fun, artsy, and creative. The food was delicious; breakfast was included in the price and there was a great selection. I would happily stay at Gorgeous George again!

Guests can relax on two verandas and explore Cape Town, which is a 7-minute drive away.... The Owners are friendly and very welcoming , they will give you recommendations and tips for your trip. The whole property is so stylish, breakfast was great- generally pretty much liked everything during our stay :)

Excellent stay on one of the best streets in CT....and I should know as I used to live there! Classic building with great staff. This is not modern but if you want a family/ warm SA feel then stay here!
