Staff were lovely and helpful with all things and very friendly. Breakfast was outstanding and dinner delicious and relaxing. View from our room was amazing of downtown and Table Mountain.

The hotel is very centraal it's for instance a 8 minute walk to 81 Long street where you can catch the hop on hop off bus ( The red line) and the next stop will be table mountain, and the old fort is about a 10 minute walk and is safe to do so. Having said this the hotel can arrange tours for you with 1 of the best tour operator in Cape Town. We drove around for 2 days with Rachid a very friendly knowledgeable man who can tell you much about the history, the vineyards, wildlife and other facts about South Africa. Rachid speaks English,French and Arabic. The hotel offers a paid limousine service which we thought was well worth since I have back problems, didn't have to touch anything myself and was brought to my room. Don't be a number in a big hotel and stay here you will never regret it.

With a pool and outdoor Jacuzzi, this boutique hotel is located just a 2-minute walk from the restaurants and shops in Kloof Street. We had a wonderful stay at the DHH. All the staff were so genuine and very helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. Speciial thanks go out to Lucca, the manager. The front of house staff Madelime, Oliver, Gladys, Merci and Pacience as well the cleaners who did a fantastic job. Stay here ! You won't be dissappointed.

This is a simply wonderful place in Cape Town. Main things to highlight: - The owner is just WONDERFUL - she is unbelievably kind and caring. She was helping with EVERYHTING, e.g. she gave me her raincoat when it was raining outside and I didn't have anything to wear. Thanks so much!! - The location in Cape Town is great - its super central, you are just nearby the Kloof St (supermarkets, great restaurants; really everything you need) but at the same time its very quiet and safe! - The place is completely new, clean and just beautiful
