Situated right beside the famous Thapae Road in Chiang Mai, Ban Chang Tong features an outdoor pool, a restaurant and bar and free WiFi access in all areas. This hotel was just amazing. I can totally see why people stay there more than once (met a traveler while there, and it was his 3rd time there). The hotel is located in central Chiang Mai, but none of the noise from traffic reaches the inside of the hotel. It is like a perfectly peaceful oasis in the middle of the city. Room was great, loved the bathroom. Used this area on the second floor a lot - there is an area with couches, chairs, carpet etc, which has a big opening to the palm trees outside. This was a perfect area to just sit, listen to the birds singing and taking in the zen vibes of the city itself. Overall amazing experience with the city and this hotel of course.
