This renovated hotel in the heart of Lisbon’s Parque das Naçoes is surrounded by trendy restaurants. It offers free Wi-Fi, a brand new restaurant and renovated spacious rooms. Stunning attention to details, so many nice toiletries packed in reusable packaging, candy and a small bottle of Port as a welcome gift, and the room I stayed in even had a stationary bike inside. My only regret is that I have a very early flight and couldn’t enjoy breakfast, but the receptionist was super nice and arranged for a breakfast box.

Hotel Ibis Lisboa Parque das Nações is a quiet Lisbon hotel, a 15-minute drive from the city centre. I got what I paid for, an inexpensive hotel close to where I needed to be, the staff were friendly, check in was quick, the room was clean quiet and warm, it wasn’t a five star hotel but I didn’t pay five star money, all that I needed and nothing I didn’t.

The staff at reception were warm, friendly, and helpful, and the breakfast staff were really lovely and efficient. The breakfast spread was great; a wonderful variety of bread and pastries, warm food, fruits, cereals and juices. Dishes were quickly topped up when they got close to empty, the room was relaxing, the seats were comfortable. Our room was always perfectly clean when we returned in the afternoon. The location was great; close to many good restaurants, shopping mall, station, and the amazing aquarium.
