We travelled with our 7 months old son and stayed at NEXT hotel for a week in January. The hotel is just 20 minutes walk to the center and near by there are several pubs and restaurants and just 10 minutes walk away from a very well maintained park with sea and city view, perfect to take breaks with a crawling toddler. We enjoyed the food at the restaurant, room service is great, the bar and the pool area is high quality and well maintained but what made our stay even more pleasant was the professional yet friendly staff. Unfortunately we got sick during our holiday, and received the best support from the hotel. Very accommodating and well prepared for any of our requests.

Hotel Catedral offers elegantly decorated rooms in Funchal’s city centre. It features panoramic views of the area. It also offers free WiFi, as well as free parking. My daughter and I absolutely loved our weeks stay here. Our room was great, the staff helpful and polite, location was perfect. We would definitely come back and stay here again.
