Este hotel ocupa uma mansão histórica rodeada por jardins antigos e extensos na pitoresca vila de Monte. This 5-star hotel is a perfect place for the holiday. It's on the mountain side, high place we could see all over the city. But I don't suggest you to drive to there because the road is too narrow for driving except you are a very good driver (actually I broken my car once driving up to there). All the places, service, ambiance, landscape could reach 5-star level. Inside like the castle place, you could even stay all day only in the hotel.

Dioclecio was a very friendly and helpful host and his responses when we messaged him were instant.. Everything was really clean and we had everything we needed. A very beautiful place to stay. We would highly recommend it.

Apresentando vista da montanha, Mountain Eco Shelter 4 apresenta acomodações com bicicletas gratuitas, um jardim e um terraço, a cerca de 14 km de Marina do Funchal. Lovely cabin surrounded by mountain views, we saw so many stars at night. There's a great place to eat and drink (O Barracão), just 10 mins walk from the cabin, and it's only 20 minutes drive from Funchal (we had a rental car, but I believe there's a bus stop nearby too). It felt like a little home away from home, bed was very comfortable, shower was excellent and the little kitchenette had a stove top, microwave, kettle, coffee machine and fridge. Our host was wonderful, very welcoming and gave us lots of recommendations. I would definitely stay here again!
