Located next to Hlemmur Square, this hotel is just off Laugavegur, the main shopping street in Reykjavík. It offers a view over the city and Esja Mountain. Impeccably clean, bright room, very nice furnishings. Very nice soaps and shampoo. Short walk to centre. Parking outside the building. The absolute best thing were the beds, so soft and comfortable. Very rare for a hotel to offer such luxurious beds, lightweight down duvets and soft linen. It felt like sleeping on clouds. Really good coffee at the reception, too.

Nice suits on the 20th floor with a fantastic view of the ocean. The bed and pillows were very comfy. Breakfast in the room was delicious and too much for us :) A self-service bar with a free coffee/tee is an excellent complimentary. We enjoyed our stay here.

This hotel is on Reykjavík’s main street, Laugavegur, 250 metres from the waterfront promenade. It offers an intimate setting and tastefully designed rooms. Parking is free. The phoenix hotel was such a lovely place to stay. The hotel was cosy, rooms were spotless, they even did a turn down service with a chocolate on your pillow in the evening! The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good and we really liked the skyr! Excellent location only a minute walk to where all the bus tours can pick you up. I would definitely recommended staying here.

Located only 350 metres from restaurant and shopping along Laugavegur shopping street, this offers stylish rooms in central Reykjavik. We liked the location since all the pick-up point on all our activities and airport transfers is in Bus 12 which is just outside the hotel. It was very convenient for us since we had 4am and 6am pick up time. And also, since our pick up time is so early, we requested if we could have breakfast to go and they prepared it ahead of time. That was one of the highlights of our stay. We liked the clothes drier inside our bathroom, sooo useful. We liked the staff also, very friendly and accommodating.
