Impeccably clean, bright room, very nice furnishings. Very nice soaps and shampoo. Short walk to centre. Parking outside the building. The absolute best thing were the beds, so soft and comfortable. Very rare for a hotel to offer such luxurious beds, lightweight down duvets and soft linen. It felt like sleeping on clouds. Really good coffee at the reception, too.

Set an 8-minute drive from central Reykjavik, this hotel offers free parking and brightly decorated rooms with a flat-screen TV and free Wi-Fi access. Kringlan Shopping Centre is 1 km away. Value for money. Clean nice and modern room. Sumptuous & generous breakfast. Few mins drive to the restos downtown. Friendly staff.

Breakfast in the room was delicious and too much for us :) A self-service bar with a free coffee/tee is an excellent complimentary. We enjoyed our stay here.

The phoenix hotel was such a lovely place to stay. The hotel was cosy, rooms were spotless, they even did a turn down service with a chocolate on your pillow in the evening! The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good and we really liked the skyr! Excellent location only a minute walk to where all the bus tours can pick you up. I would definitely recommended staying here.

Dinner served at the restaurant was tasty and of good quality. Bar & restaurant personnel were very nice and professional. Easily reachable from the hotel to the city center by bus. Supermarkets and other restaurants within short walking distance from the hotel. When hotel's parking was full, there were plenty parking places outside the hotel in its immediate vicinity. Easy to drive out the city for the major sights from the hotel.

Located only 350 metres from restaurant and shopping along Laugavegur shopping street, this offers stylish rooms in central Reykjavik. We liked the location since all the pick-up point on all our activities and airport transfers is in Bus 12 which is just outside the hotel. It was very convenient for us since we had 4am and 6am pick up time. And also, since our pick up time is so early, we requested if we could have breakfast to go and they prepared it ahead of time. That was one of the highlights of our stay. We liked the clothes drier inside our bathroom, sooo useful. We liked the staff also, very friendly and accommodating.
