This hotel is on Reykjavík’s main street, Laugavegur, 250 metres from the waterfront promenade. It offers an intimate setting and tastefully designed rooms. Parking is free. The phoenix hotel was such a lovely place to stay. The hotel was cosy, rooms were spotless, they even did a turn down service with a chocolate on your pillow in the evening! The staff were very friendly. Breakfast was good and we really liked the skyr! Excellent location only a minute walk to where all the bus tours can pick you up. I would definitely recommended staying here.

Located next to Hlemmur Square, this hotel is just off Laugavegur, the main shopping street in Reykjavík. It offers a view over the city and Esja Mountain. Lovely comfortable rooms, the amenities in the rooms were great! Staff were pleasant and friendly. Breakfast was amazing so I would definitely get the add on. It was nice that they started early as well so it wasn't a rush when you had pickups etc. Location is a short walk from the central shopping/restaurant streets and it is also a location where bus drop offs can happen to the door step which is a plus. Happy to store luggage even overnight which is a plus when you're doing tours etc
