Set in secluded gardens, Clementine's Guest House, has free WiFi and characterful rooms. Clementine's Guest House. It's a truly beautiful place with a unique interior design that we loved. Findig our room was like climbing up the stairs in a maze (in a good way) and made us feel as if we were staying in a castle. The room was clean, with surprise Kit-Kat bars and Cadbury hot chocolate powder on the tea table. The bed was big and comfy, bathroom shower excellent with two shower heads. Staff was really nice and helpful (e.g. carrying my luggage to our room). We loved the little garden in the back and the location is also perfect, in a quiet area but ten minutes on foot from the city centre. We appreciated that at breakfast, the self-service table was monitored and restacked regularly. If we return to York, we would love to book this place again.

A boutique hotel in the heart of York just a 10-minute walk from York Minster. We loved everything about our stay at No 1! I have never been in such a dog friendly hotel. Even our dog loved it there so much.

The 3-star Hedley House Hotel & Apartments is situated in a quiet residential area, 500 metres from York Minster and 8-minute walk of York city centre, bus and rail stations. The breakfast was amazing!!! The rooms were clean and well equipped. The staff were lovely and very helpful. It seemed like they enjoyed working together, which made for a relaxing atmosphere.

On a quiet tree-lined cul-de-sac, B+B York is a 10-minute stroll from York city centre and offers en-suite rooms, bar/lounge facilities and on-site car parking. This is a great location for exploring York, quite near the York Minster and the rest. There are a couple of quiet restaurants, The Churchill and the Pearly Cow. The room was huge with 3 beds, big enough for a family. Bed was comfortable, good water pressure in the shower. Breakfast was quite nice and served fast. Also, a portable heater was available for when you get cold.

Sjarmerende Burton Stone Inn - Free Parking on site ligger i en vernet bygning av Grade 2 i Clifton Road i York, 9 minutters kjøring fra York Dungeon og JORVIK Viking Center og 13 minutters kjøring... Landlord was really kind and polite, and they make great breakfasts. I really loved fresh fruits in the morning. Also everyday tee and coffee refills in rooms were great (also with small chocolates ;) ). A really relaxed. City centre is around 10 minutes of walk.

Alle henvendelser ble raskt svart på, en svært imøtekomme og god velkomst. Mange gode anbefalinger på hva vi burde se, hvor vi kunne finne gode restauranter og i hvilke deler av byen dette lå. Nydelig frokost servert av verten selv, sammen med en fornøyelig prat om hva vi gjorde i går, hva vi tenkte i dag og andre solskinnshistorier. Ca 20min.gange inn til bymuren. Husk å bestille parkering hos Bi&Bi om dere kommer med bil.
