Set in secluded gardens, Clementine's Guest House, has free WiFi and characterful rooms. Clementine's Guest House. The room was very clean, wonderfully decorated and in a great position to walk to city centre. All staff we met were very chatty and friendly.

They recommended really wonderful restaurants before our arrival, so dinner reservations were done and dusted and we had no stress. When we were shown to our room it was perfect! Plenty of space for myself and my college bound kid. The decor is gorgeous and the beds are so plush and comfortable. Even though we were at the front of the house, the double paned windows blocked the street noise, and the shutters blocked the street lights. In the morning we had a delicious full English breakfast with local sausages. The coffee was excellent, and we enjoyed the ambience of the dining room. I also enjoyed the travel tips from our host while we worked out plans for the day. The walk into town was easy and navigating York was no problem from this location.
