The bathroom was very big and everything was in very good condition. Having the pub below is great, you can end the day having dinner there or a beer before going up to the room. The tube station is next door and takes you straight into central London.

With en suite rooms and free Wi-Fi, Gateway Hotel is 150 metres from Clapham South Tube Station, a short walk from the open green space of Clapham Common. The location was perfect, the views from the room. The quiet and safe neighborhood has two large supermarkets next door, a bus and metro stop. The room had tea, coffee, chocolate, sugar and cookies.It had a hair dryer and shower cap, which was very handy. Very easy and comfortable check-in. I will return without a doubt. The staff was very friendly, since I asked for a room that was not in the basement (due to my claustrophobia) and they listened to my request without any problem.

It's a short walk to the underground where there are food and coffee shops. The accommodation is very clean and spacious. There are new towels, shampoo, and soap provided in every bedroom. The washer and dryer are separate units. The kitchen is the best we've ever encountered. Will stay again if we travel to London.

I have stayed at Balham lLodge several times on short stays in London - the place is welcoming, very clean a d comfortable, and staff are brilliant: always polite and helpful. I would definitely recommend it, as it is one of the best value for money hotels in London, in my view.

Everything is just awesome perfect. This stay exceeded all our expectations. The flat is equipped like hosts were going to live there themselves. Kitchen has everything a family could need. No any small thing that we could comply. Location is excellent - safe, quiet and just few minutes of walking to subway, hypermarket, stores/restaurants etc. We used several properties to stay in London during last couple years and this one is definitely the best we have seen to the moment. Strongly recommended.
