This boutique design hotel in Heidelberg features modern accommodations behind a historic façade. It is located beside the university in the Old Town. Schloss Heidelberg castle is 2625 feet away. We enjoyed the thoughtful and functional room layouts, the breakfast buffet was excellent, and the friendly staff who went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay. The location was perfect, a short walk from all the attractions in the old part of Heidelberg.

The Hotel was situated right at the foot of the castle and a mere 3 mins walk to the Town Centre. We were there during Xmas and the atmosphere was very festive. Ideally located in the Old Town just a stone's throw from the Famous Bridge and its Monkey. The street may not be so quiet at weekends, but that shortcoming can be easily overcome given the other advantages: friendly staff, breakfast where everyone can find what they like, a cozy restaurant with appetizing dishes and nice wines.
