Only a 5-minute walk from Dongmen Walking Street, Hyatt Place features comfortable accommodation with satellite TVs and free Wi-Fi. The room was spacious with a convenient desk, a big bed, a sofa and an extra comfy small sofa by the window sill. There was a small fridge, a hair dryer and all the necessary toiletries. Everything was spotlessly clean. There was a great choice for breakfast: you can eat cornflakes, yoghurt, noodles, sausages, eggs, rice buns, fruit and pastry. The Laojie metro entrance is in the same building as the hotel, so you basically take the lift down, walk out of the entrance door, turn round the corner and you get on the metro. I paid in cash, not problems with that. After check out, I needed an extra document for my employee. I emailed the hotel and they sent it to me within an hour, although it was already in the evening. The hotel is located in a lively neighbourhood with lots of shops and eateries. There are even a couple of pedestrian streets with only snack stands and street food booths. There's a McDonald's store and UNIQLO nearby.
