Great view of the park & area, we could also see the tennis courts below. The room was very spacious and well furnished. It was our second stay (2 years ago) and we would stay here again. We love the indoor pool, huge gym and tennis courts.

Shenzhen is considered one of the most successful and prosperous cities in China. It is located in the Guangdong province, along the border with Hong Kong. Although 30 years ago it was a small fishing village, the creation of the first Special Economic Zone transformed the region into a bustling metropolis with almost 15 million people.
Its shiny urban landscape and cultural life include contemporary icons like the Shenzhen Library, the Concert Hall, and the Portofino complex. The districts of Futian, Luohu and Nanshan are packed with modern hotels, including some of the best 4 and 5-star accommodation in Shenzhen.
The city is famous for its amusement parks, including the’Splendid China and China Folk Culture Villages’. During the 17th century, migrants from the northern Hakka peoples arrived in significant numbers, and remnants like the ‘Crane Lake Fortified Hakka Village’ are an important legacy. The region includes beautiful beaches, and the Dapeng Peninsula is gaining momentum as one of the country’s best coastal stretches.
The city is serviced by Bao'an International Airport, while Hong Kong International Airport is reachable by public transport. Ferry, bus and railway links to Hong Kong, Macau or Guangzhou are also available. Whether you need a fancy hotel in the business district or express accommodation near the airport, don’t miss the Shenzhen deals on Booking.com!

Excellent city..a far cry from my previous visit in 2006. The cleanliness, safety and security within the vast city areas are world-class, including even the public toilets. People are so much more polite and helpful now.

Shopping Paradise for Electronics and Clothes if you know where to go. Download Alipay makes it alot easier in Shenzhen. Traffic can get a bit crazy if you take taxi. Train service works well but can also get very busy during peak.
Will definitely be visiting again. Very important to Foreigners. Get a VPN before you come, Get a Shenzhen sim card (Not Hong Kong), and register on Alipay. If you do all this you should be ok. Most people we met was very friendly.

Shenzhen's Futian and Nanshan areas offer a diverse range of experiences. Among my favorites were Sea World, an enchanting marine park; Da Fen Oil Painting Village, a haven for art enthusiasts; and OCT Loft, a vibrant creative hub. The city's culinary scene truly shines, with an abundance of delectable food options, and Man Yau Food Centre stands out as a must-visit for foodies.
However, Coco Park, despite its popularity, felt somewhat underwhelming, and Lao Jie, while charming, could benefit from better maintenance and cleanliness. Overall, Shenzhen offers a captivating blend of attractions, catering to various interests and preferences.

Shenzhen is a well managed modern city. It is ok even if you don't know a bit of Chinese. No problems in exploring and roaming around. Perfectly safe. Local Chinese people in Shenzhen are very cooperative and mind their own business. Very helpful and chill community. Night life is fantastic. I love to visit again for longer periods.

Shenzhen is a very vibrant city with a relatively young population, with the majority of the population under the age of 30. Nanshan is the high tech area where HQ's of tech firms are located, it is like Silicon Valley on steroids
Close proximity to shopping area like next door and the metro station. Generally clean room with comfy bed and clean bathroom. There was a male receptionist conversant in English, and there no issue communicating with my simple Mandarin. Drop off is outside the main shopping district of Dongmen, so it will avoid traffic jams. Lots of food options are available like street food and proper restaurants. My go-to hotel for my yearly shopping trips to Shenzhen.
There is GreenTree Inn in a walking distance form GreenTree Alliance Shenzhen Shekou Sea World Hotel.
It's the same hotel group and you can get accomodation there. Just go to exit D at Shuiwan metro station and cross the road.
A litle bit old furniture but bedclothes new and clear and also bedclothes changed every day by roomservice.
On after COVID-19 era not all Chinee hotels allow foriegner accomodation but GreenTree group allow it!
It was a very pleasant stay. The building itself was abit aged. but hotel team did best to keep it in a nice way! staff from health sport center Ms.Jiang was very welcoming all the time, shows the best hospitality. Ms Zhang from breakfast was very helpful as well. I would come again to this hotel when I am in Hongkong or Shenzhen area.
A hotel of elegant design and provides spacious and comfortable rooms. The location of the hotel is perfect, close to Luohu and in one of the most lively neighborhoods in Shenzhen. We booked twice in this hotel.
The hotel is modern, with fairly new furniture and furnishings. Very spacious and it was quiet.
Next to a mall which was convenient and it had a nice view on the Shenzhen reservoir area and the mountains.
