Beautifully furnished and comfortable. Easily accessible to the centre of Luzern. Hosts were incredibly lovely and generous with their time greeting us on arrival.

4 miles from Lucerne Train Station in Lucerne, Residence Kastanienbaum provides accommodations with access to a steam room and open-air bath. Residence Kastanienbaum is a spacious one bedroom flat in a quiet neighbourhood ten minutes by car/bus from Lucerne. Both the bedroom and living room have a wonderful lake view (although we had pretty foggy weather all week). The kitchen is really well equipped and the welcome goodies are really tasty and much appreciated. There are two bathrooms: one with a bathtub, sink and washing machine/drier; the other with toilet, sink and shower. The extra bed in the living room was super comfortable as well. We stayed for a week in January and felt right at home. The Lucerne visitors card was very handy to take public transport to the shops and to visit Lucerne.

Really comfortable and peaceful stay. Stunning views and walks on doorstep. Excellent transport links. The villa is an exclusive area - just out the tourist-filled Lucerne but close enough to get to places and do everything you want to (20 mins on the 21 bus). Francesco and Sylvia were lovely hosts and made us feel very welcome. We enjoyed a lovely breakfast on the terrace. Thank you so much

Anstatthotel Horw - self-check-in enjoys a location in Lucerne, 3.5 miles from Lucerne Train Station and 4.2 miles from Lion Monument. We loved the view from our apartment. Everything was clean and very comfortable. The sun was streaming into the apartment. We had coffee looking at the lake and mountains and listening to the cow bells jingling. The room was well equipped and the hotel was so well looked after and managed. We appreciated the attention to sustainability and recycling. We were impressed.
