Staff at reception were so kind and welcoming. They were also answering my messages prior my arrival very fast, i was able to receive my Luzern visitor card for free transportation right on time. The room was spacious and very clean. I loved having the Coffee machine in the room. Hotel is conveniently located near a bus stop.

The Seehotel Sternen is located in the heart of central Switzerland, right by the banks of Lake Lucerne in the picturesque Horw Bay, only a 5-minute drive from Lucerne. The property is at a quiet and pleasant bay around the corner of lake Lucerne. The hotel host is extremely friendly and nice, and provided good advice for our trip in the City. The room has a beautiful balcony facing the lake. The breakfast is of high standard.

Located 0.6 mi away from Lucerne, Gasthaus zur Waldegg features 2 restaurants offering traditional Swiss and international cuisine, a bar and a beer garden overlooking Mount Pilatus. This is such a hidden germ! The room we stayed in was fully renovated, with a nice balcony and a great view of the mountains. In general, we really appreciated the hospitality — the staff were very kind and welcoming and there were thoughtful touches like free coffee and water carafes in the communal area, as well as an “honesty bar.” After a long day of discovering beautiful Lucerne and its surroundings, you can try local beers in the garden under the shade of the trees (which seem to be frequented by locals as well.) The location is perfect as it’s very close to the city center (direct bus line, train stop 5 min walk away) but also gives easier access to Alpnachstad/mountains. We hope to be back!

I love the fact that this stay is just in front of the bus stop so it is really easy for you to commute. Th view from the stay is also amazing. Everything is well-equipped. It has elevator from the ground floor to the other floors which eases the check-in process and is suitable for wheelchair.
