Most friendly personal, the cutest hotel ever - every floor in different style, very warm and cosy. The location is not in the very centre but there is a bus station 50m from the hotel with direct connection to the centre. Room was cosy, very good breakfast. Everything in this hotel is very personal. The owner will talk to you at the breakfast, the plates and cups are like they've been owned by the owners grandmother ... It's more like coming to one's home rather than to a hotel. I must say one of my most - if not the most pleasant stay ever!

This beautiful, renovated and modern hotel is located in the town centre, close to Locarno’s old town with the famous Piazza Grande and Lake Maggiore with its lakeside promenade. The hotel is really convenient to the train station. The room we had was large. The bed was really comfortable. Liked having the kettle in the room to make a hot drink when first getting moving in the morning. The breakfast offered up a good variety of options.

Set on the lakeshore promenade of Lake Maggiore, Hotel Geranio Au Lac is only 100 metres from the Locarno Train Station and the city centre. It offers a breakfast buffet. Not far from train station where we got off. A beautiful location on the lakefront. Room was spacious, a balcony. Breakfast was provided and we enjoyed sitting outside on the balcony. Staff were lovely.

Hotel Alexandra er til húsa í villu frá því um aldamótin, staðsett í aðeins 10 mínútna göngufjarlægð frá miðbæ Locarno. Þar er boðið upp á Miðjarðarhafsmatargerð. Great staff and a very clean and well presented hotel. The free day bus pass was useful.

Completely renovated in 2013, Hotel Rio Muralto is located in front of the train station, 1-minute walk distance from all alle the public transport and the funicular to the Madonna del Sasso. Location near old town by railway station and funicular! Rooms were very good. Breakfast was delicious.

Sweet and friendly staff who genuinely wants you to have the best stay possible. Everything is decorated with care, incredibly clean and comfortable. Excellent breakfast. Although next to the train station we did not hear a single train! Highly recommend this hotel!
