This and the Ticino card provided by hotel allowed us to take numerous day trips, and even go down to Lugano and back for dinner. Few minutes walk to lake, but don't stay here if you want a balcony and lake view. Good breakfast and helpful staff.

Set on the lakeshore promenade of Lake Maggiore, Hotel Geranio Au Lac is only 100 metres from the Locarno Train Station and the city centre. It offers a breakfast buffet. Not far from train station where we got off. A beautiful location on the lakefront. Room was spacious, a balcony. Breakfast was provided and we enjoyed sitting outside on the balcony. Staff were lovely.

@ Home Hotel Locarno se nachází v centru Locarna, 5 minut chůze od jezera Maggiore, náměstí Piazza Grande a vlakového nádraží Muralto Locarno. It was a perfect stay with a lovely balcony and wonderful staff

Hotel la Palma au Lac is situated on the beautiful lake promenade of Locarno, a few steps from the city centre. All rooms provide a TV, a safe and a private bathroom. Breakfast and dinner were supreme. Amazing view and location, rooms were spotless and beds are very comfy. Spa was a great time. Staff was always friendly and attentive, especially Davide at reception. We had a top time.

Completely renovated in 2013, Hotel Rio Muralto is located in front of the train station, 1-minute walk distance from all alle the public transport and the funicular to the Madonna del Sasso. Having safe secure bicycle storage was important and really appreciated this feature.

The hotel (actually a charming villa) was in a prime location, close to all the major attractions. The lady at the reception 🥰🥰🥰 was very friendly, welcomed us with complimentary chocolates. Both check-in and check-out were professionally handled and easy. The room was beyond comfortable, spotless and spacious, with elegant décor. Breakfast was a feast, with a wide variety of delicious options. Great restaurants and train station within walking distance. Ability to store your luggage after check-out.
