It was on top of Copacabana beach. As soon as we arrived, one of the staff helped us with our bags to get it into the hotel when we were checking in and the same when we checked out. While this may not be the case with everyone, I had booked a partial sea view and was upgraded to a full ocean view. The hotel has such a beautiful view of Copacabana beach and surrounding areas. The breakfast was delicious and so was the four cheese pizza. The hotel is also in the perfect location, there are great restaurants a few blocks down (Pave Azul is one) and bakeries (Bendito Cookies being one).

Facing Copacabana Beach and within 800 metres from Ipanema Beach, Orla Copacabana Hotel features free WiFi, a rooftop pool and a restaurant. The hotel is right on Copacabana beach. The views from the pool are unreal and there was a bar at the pool for drinks which we loved. The breakfast in the hotel is great. Lots of variety. Staff were very accommodating and friendly. We were able to organise a day trip around the sights in Rio in the lobby of the hotel which was perfect. Really recommend. I had a lovely stay.
