This little Posada bursts with charm and sophistication. From the moment we stepped into the grounds we felt so comfortable. The owners Maria and Nelson are so charming and welcoming. They made you feel right at home. The room is decorated simply but beautifully with a big plush bed , luxurious sheets , good size bathroom and a large seating area. The breakfast was amazing. There was a variety of baked goods, scrambled eggs, ham cheese, olives, tomatoes and great coffee. But the best part about breakfast was seeing the friendly staff especially Fatima. She was the head cook. We have no Portuguese and she had no English but she greeted us every morning with a smile and always confirmed that we wanted scrambled eggs with hand gestures. She even made me another Flan cake because I enjoyed her first one so much. We were planning on only spending 4 days but ended up staying 10 days. This was truly a beautiful experience. Nastanitev Pousada Aquino Mar na fantastični lokaciji v okrožju Cabore (Paraty) je 15 min hoje od znamenitosti Plaža Praia do Jabaquara, 1,9 km od znamenitosti Plaža Praia do Cais in 2 km od... This pousada is 1.5 km from the old part of Paraty. For us, it was not a problem since we preferred to take a walk along the canal in the evenings to and from our favourite restaurants and pubs situated in the downtown area of Paraty. This is a very neat, new, well-maintained, and very clean pousada with a very welcoming staff. Air conditioning is available everywhere. Plugs are also available in the room (not near the bed, though!). The rooms are acceptable in size, with a large, comfortable double bed. Cleaning in the room and bathroom was done on a daily basis. Shower pressure was acceptable, and hot water was provided via an instant hot water electric generator (like we noticed in most of the pousadas in Brazil). Hot water at the sink is not available. We have asked for a room overlooking the rear courtyard since, on the roadside, the noise from the street would not be acceptable to us. Windows does not offer soundproofing in Brazil, as we have noticed in many pousadas; therefore, it would be good to carefully select your location. Flat 40" TV with already-available Netflix so that we could follow our favourite TV series. The Internet in the room on TV is via cable; therefore, everything played smoothly. Parking places are available in front of the pousada and away from city traffic. Security cameras monitor the property around the clock, and a pool inside Pousada's courtyard is also available and included in the price only for guests. A small but efficient fridge we had in the room. The property has its own back-up generator therefore in case of blackouts in the area everything is still runing smoothly autonomously. A big plus! In case you have forgotten to buy water or juices from outside, this pousada can sell you water and non-alcohol beverages.

Tastefully decorated and boasting a pool, Pousada Cana Caiana offers stylish accommodation with free WiFi. It also has a 24-hour reception and tour desk. I loved the location, it's a beautiful place. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was outstanding.

Just 900 metres from Paraty historical centre, this guest house offers charming accommodation decorated with handmade objects, plus free WiFi. Regional breakfast can be enjoyed daily. This little Pousada is quite nice. Everything is done really well, the grounds, the room, the decor, the breakfast….. It’s certainly not the cheapest place in Paraty. But I believe it is worth every extra dollar. I’ve stayed in quite a few little places like this, and this one is definitely at or near the top!
