Situated in Paraty, 1.4 km from Praia do Cais, Casa Arte Cabore features accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking and a garden. Very friendly owner in an interesting boutique art hotel. Owner was kind to meet us when we arrived late, which we appreciated. Had a really nice breakfast in the morning, comfy clean rooms and a very curious cat who will try his best to come into the room - the true hotel owner! Very pleasant stay and nice to chat about David Hockney as we were waiting for our pickup.

Conveniently located in the Cabore district of Paraty, Pousada Aquino Mar is set 1.3 km from Jabaquara Beach, 1.9 km from Praia do Cais and 2 km from Pontal Beach. This pousada is 1.5 km from the old part of Paraty. For us, it was not a problem since we preferred to take a walk along the canal in the evenings to and from our favourite restaurants and pubs situated in the downtown area of Paraty. This is a very neat, new, well-maintained, and very clean pousada with a very welcoming staff. Air conditioning is available everywhere. Plugs are also available in the room (not near the bed, though!). The rooms are acceptable in size, with a large, comfortable double bed. Cleaning in the room and bathroom was done on a daily basis. Shower pressure was acceptable, and hot water was provided via an instant hot water electric generator (like we noticed in most of the pousadas in Brazil). Hot water at the sink is not available. We have asked for a room overlooking the rear courtyard since, on the roadside, the noise from the street would not be acceptable to us. Windows does not offer soundproofing in Brazil, as we have noticed in many pousadas; therefore, it would be good to carefully select your location. Flat 40" TV with already-available Netflix so that we could follow our favourite TV series. The Internet in the room on TV is via cable; therefore, everything played smoothly. Parking places are available in front of the pousada and away from city traffic. Security cameras monitor the property around the clock, and a pool inside Pousada's courtyard is also available and included in the price only for guests. A small but efficient fridge we had in the room. The property has its own back-up generator therefore in case of blackouts in the area everything is still runing smoothly autonomously. A big plus! In case you have forgotten to buy water or juices from outside, this pousada can sell you water and non-alcohol beverages.

Set in Paraty, less than 1 km from Jabaquara Beach, Pousada Villa Verano offers accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. The owners were very friendly and very helpfull. Would absolutely stay here again, highly recommend!

Tastefully decorated and boasting a pool, Pousada Cana Caiana offers stylish accommodation with free WiFi. It also has a 24-hour reception and tour desk. I loved the location, it's a beautiful place. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was outstanding.

Pousada Villas de Paraty is located along Perequê-Açu River shores, 600 metres from Paraty Historic Centre and 800 metres from the main pier. Very enjoyable common area, with 2 pools (inside and outside), games, fitness room. The room is confortable, with a small private terrasse. Good location in Parati.

Offering an outdoor pool and views of the garden, Maris Paraty is set in the Cabore district in Paraty, 900 metres from Paraty Historic Centre. The rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV. Everything was above excellent. The staff was wonderful, breakfast was great, the grounds were beautiful. We really loved the beautiful beach, Paia do Portal.
