We were on our way from Northern Portugal to Madrid Spain, and found this place on the way. So that was a considered as a place for an overnight only. The owner was very welcoming, need to use google translate, as Portuguese is the only language... She also runs a small cafe shop, just across the street. There is a large swimming pool - it was too cold for us, but if you arrive in hot days, it looks great.

There is a saltwater swimming pool that looked very inviting, but we did not use. Very modern facility that did suit us well.

The rooms are very spacious and well appointed with everything you need on hand -they are extremely quiet and peaceful. The staff were excellent and extremely helpful. The breakfast exceeded our expectations with an excellent selection. All in all it was a fabulous stay and one night wasn't long enough.

Great location just outside Peso da Guarda. Rooms 1, 3 and 5 have views over the vineyards and the Douro; the two other rooms face a garden that wraps around the side of the main building to a garden table with a view. Breakfast is copious. It’s a charming property with a nice rural feel. Joachim was a friendly host who obviously cares. Thanks for the welcome glass of Porto!

This is a very good accommodation. It was beautifully prepared and equipped, very comfortable and peaceful. And a lovely friendly dog! Highly recommended.

One of the best experiences so far! A nice boutique Hotel (5 rooms only) within the vineyards. Great pool, cozy interior. The managing lady was really kind and helpful. Nice breakfast with fresh fruits, eggs, sweet cake :) And breathtaking view from the rooms panoramic windows to Duoro valley! Amazing!!!

Host very helpful in allowing me to use her printer to print boarding passes. Breakfast was not just the standard continental bread and coffee, but included fruit, cereals, range of breads and toast and condiments and cheeses, fruit juice and tea/coffee. Room was large. Area is very quiet.
