The choice of rooms was fabulous. Great way to spend time with extended family together in one spot. Love the grounds and interior. Barbecue area and fire was a lovely way to spend the evenings. Would totally recommend for large group- especially a bridal party getting ready for a wedding.

We also made trips to Cape Palliser, to the Putangirua Pinnacles (the Dimholt Road for lotr-fans), the Rivendell-location and the Waiohine-Gorge. Breakfast with homemade bread and fresh eggs was outstanding and the hosts recommended lovely restaurants. Last but not least - we loved Hazel and Lotta, the two dogs of the family. We'll try to come back soon!

Accommodation was absolutely immaculate and so comfortable. Will definitely be back even though it was a bit pricey.
