ASURE Oak Estate Motor Lodge offers affordable self-catering accommodation with free WiFi and access to laundry and BBQ facilities. Very comfortable unit, very clean and amazing hosts! They are so so friendly, which was welcoming! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and it was worth every penny. Very easy to find, great parking and they were very accommodating :)

The choice of rooms was fabulous. Great way to spend time with extended family together in one spot. Love the grounds and interior. Barbecue area and fire was a lovely way to spend the evenings. Would totally recommend for large group- especially a bridal party getting ready for a wedding.

Located at the edge of Carterton the cottage is a good base to explore the Martinbourough-region. We also made trips to Cape Palliser, to the Putangirua Pinnacles (the Dimholt Road for lotr-fans), the Rivendell-location and the Waiohine-Gorge. Breakfast with homemade bread and fresh eggs was outstanding and the hosts recommended lovely restaurants. Last but not least - we loved Hazel and Lotta, the two dogs of the family. We'll try to come back soon!
