富谷緑水庵茶道体験 offers a sauna and free private parking, and is within 11 km of Sendai City Community Support Center and 16 km of Shiogama Shrine. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The host, although speaking limited English, was superlatively hospitable and did his absolute utmost to guide us through the traditional tea ceremony. It was also so very appreciated that we were able to bring our pet!

Takeyashiki たけやしき, a property with a garden, is located in Shiroishi, 43 km from the Site of Sendai Castle, 45 km from Zuihoden, as well as 45 km from Sakuraoka Daijingu. Great hospitality when meeting at the house. Inside is simple but cozy. Appreciated the tub size.
