Nanakita
富谷緑水庵茶道体験 offers a sauna and free private parking, and is within 11 km of Sendai City Community Support Center and 16 km of Shiogama Shrine. Boasting a shared kitchen, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. The country house also offers facilities for disabled guests. This was just a memorable experience I will bring with me for the rest of my life! We stayed in this wonderful traditional Japanese house where we had the chance to prepare our own food and spend some time with the host. He is very welcoming and even if we arrived late in the evening he waited for us to eat and then he made a tea ceremony for the duration of one hour! I can just say this was fantastic and he also took a picture with us as a gift. The room we stayed in was very big, comfortable and clean with beds on the tatami and we had a quiet night sleep. I cannot recommend it enough and I would highly suggest it as a stop if you are visiting this area.
Shiroishi
Takeyashiki たけやしき, a property with a garden, is located in Shiroishi, 43 km from the Site of Sendai Castle, 45 km from Zuihoden, as well as 45 km from Sakuraoka Daijingu. Great hospitality when meeting at the house. Inside is simple but cozy. Appreciated the tub size.
First roykan I've tried and not disappointed! The food is very good and generous I think, I had trouble finishing everything. The place is quiet in the middle of the forest, I had a large room and the staff are very attentive to your needs. They help you with your travel plans and you can ask them to take you by car from the station to the ryokan or other places if there are no buses.I recommend it!
It has a good quality price-ratio, as all the APA hotels I think. We were there for only one night, so there isn't much to say, but the room was quiet and it had good air conditioning (even if the machine was a bit dusty I think), which was great since it was so hot otherwise.
Comfortable location, just 5 mins walk from the Sendai station. Great if you plan to visit around and use trains a lot. Spacious room, with well-equipped bathroom. All you may need, plus a small fridge and a kettle. Tea bags for free. We had very good night's sleep, it was quiet at nights. Beds were comfortable. Overall good value.
Eiju the host became a friend. Quiet and lovely Place in the Center. A Voucher for a wonderful onsen. I recommend the matsushimakagai Train as it’s so beautiful in the Greens.
I like how clean and quiet it was. The staff was super nice and was close to a 7/11 to eat some snacks
The bed and pillows were very soft and comfortable and the room was quiet, making it easy to get a good sleep. The air conditioner was easy to use.
Nice hotel in a great, central location. Very clean and new feel with a good sized room. Quiet and lot of places to drink and eat nearby.
Staff was amazing, they were very accommodating, even when we misremembered the check-out time. Room was comfortable and well equipped. We had the best time, and I think back fondly of our one night spent here. It was a little piece of paradise, very peaceful and quiet.
We liked how central the hotel was to lots of shopping, food and entertainment. We also felt very safe in the hotel, the room was very clean. It was also nice and quiet which made it very peaceful.
