富谷緑水庵茶道体験 offers a sauna and free private parking, and is within 11 km of Sendai City Community Support Center and 16 km of Shiogama Shrine. This was just a memorable experience I will bring with me for the rest of my life! We stayed in this wonderful traditional Japanese house where we had the chance to prepare our own food and spend some time with the host. He is very welcoming and even if we arrived late in the evening he waited for us to eat and then he made a tea ceremony for the duration of one hour! I can just say this was fantastic and he also took a picture with us as a gift. The room we stayed in was very big, comfortable and clean with beds on the tatami and we had a quiet night sleep. I cannot recommend it enough and I would highly suggest it as a stop if you are visiting this area.

Takeyashiki たけやしき, a property with a garden, is located in Shiroishi, 43 km from the Site of Sendai Castle, 45 km from Zuihoden, as well as 45 km from Sakuraoka Daijingu. Great hospitality when meeting at the house. Inside is simple but cozy. Appreciated the tub size.
