Boasting sea views, Námshestar offers accommodation with a private beach area, a garden and a shared lounge, around 42 km from The Pearl. The place is really big and clean, and we had a fully equipped kitchen. The location was amazing, and we couldn't ask for a better view, it was outstanding. The host was really sweet and helpful, and she was really accomodating ! In bonus, we were welcomed by horses and a dog.

This countryside property, in the Western Iceland town of Borgarfjördur, is next to the Hvítá Glacial River. It offers free Wi-Fi in the reception, as well as an on-site restaurant and bar. One of the best places we stayed in Iceland! Wonderful, wide views around the valley, renovated facilities, excellent restaurant on site and most helpful staff. Really glad we found this gem in a slightly less visited area of the island.
