Located just outside the village of Spreyton, just 13 km of Crediton, East Hillerton House offers 4-star accommodation. Complimentary private parking and free WiFi are available on site. We enjoyed our time there so much. Nicola and her husband were very welcoming, it all felt more like visiting friends than staying in anonymous accommodation. The room amenities are sensational, there are bathrobes, slippers, shampoo, shower gel, cream etc all available, as well as a super lovely set of snacks and teas. We especially liked the heat lamp in the shower. For breakfast you should bring some time, because Nicola prepares it fresh every morning (according to the choice you made the night before) and together with her husband takes the time to talk with the guests. The location is a very good base for touring Dartmoor. This was the best place to stay on our travels around England and if we ever find ourselves in the area again, we will definitely stay here again.

Set in 14 acres of outstanding natural beauty, this country house bed and breadkfast with cottages and a heated outdoor pool offers a relaxed atmosphere, professional service and luxurious... Our flight was delayed so we arrived after the restaurant closed. The owner and his wife made us welcome, even though they had closed for the night. They very kindly opened a bottle of wine and made us a wonderful dinner. Throughout the stay their hospitality was amazing. The owner would not let us walk to the bus stop, instead he very kindly drove us all the way to Sidmouth in his own car! They really could not have done more for us!

In a peaceful, secluded valley on the outskirts of Ilfracombe and convenient for Woolacombe, this splendid 18th-century country house is surrounded by gardens, woodland and streams. Absolutly faboulos!!! Super friendly host, great location (magical garden), very comfortable rooms and delicious breakfast. I would give 20 stars, if it would be possible...

Nestled amid 10 acres of private grounds, on the southern slopes of Dartmoor National Park, this family-run award-winning hotel provides the ideal base from which to explore the natural beauty of... The food was exceptionally good. Every meal was delicious, and they were extremely cautious and accommodating toward allergies and dietary restrictions. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

This delightful little country house offers relaxed surroundings with many of the services of a hotel. Being able to select what we wanted from the breakfast menu and having a "special" to pick if desired.
