Offering a garden and garden view, East Hillerton House is located in Crediton, 42 km from Newton Abbot Racecourse and 15 km from Castle Drogo. Initial contact via email made by host confirming directions etc. Large parking area outside. The hosts were welcoming and very friendly. Wonderful views of the open countryside. Nice and quiet location. The bed was amazingly comfy. The walk-in rain shower was something else and not just a trickle. Drinks, snacks and chocolates in the room. The price was very reasonable and the breakfast was spot-on (choose from a menu the night before and so ready at the allocated time).

Featuring a garden and views of sea, High Ways House is a recently renovated country house set in Woolacombe, 34 km from Lundy Island. Superb breakfast, excellent hosts and very comfortable bed. A great place to stay.

A recently renovated country house situated in Southleigh, Keep Cottage features a garden. Beautifully rural and stunning location. The cottage was absolutely spotless and so well equipped, Bee has thought of everything you may need for your stay from toiletries to kitchen bits and bobs! The cottage is stunningly decorated, so cosy and the view of the fields from the cottage is gorgeous. Bee was the best host you could have, she was so accommodating and couldn’t do enough for us, we really can’t wait to come back soon and we are so glad we’ve found this gem. We would 100% recommend staying here without a doubt 💛

Located in Barnstaple and only 32 km from Lundy Island, Beachborough Country House provides accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking. The 1 bedroom apartment is gorgeous. Very comfy and beautiful with everything I could wish for as a mum traveling with a little one. And the bed was one of the best beds I ever slept in. The host was super helpful - ahead of our trip but also during. The area around the house is really great, lots of space and always something to discover for the little ones. In terms of places worth seeing in the area I liked the most Lynton (small and cute) and the SW coast path between Lynton and Valley of Rocks (truly impressive) and Weelacombe Beach (a kind of mother of all beaches).

Serenity Estate, a property with barbecue facilities, is set in Berrynarbor, 34 km from Lundy Island, 35 km from Royal North Devon Golf Club, as well as 35 km from Westward Ho!. Really friendly and nice owners who made us feel very welcome . Amazing location, with a beautiful big garden with outdoor seating and playing outdoor games and with a BBQ Which we used.

Set in 14 acres of outstanding natural beauty, this country house bed and breadkfast with cottages and a heated outdoor pool offers a relaxed atmosphere, professional service and luxurious... Our flight was delayed so we arrived after the restaurant closed. The owner and his wife made us welcome, even though they had closed for the night. They very kindly opened a bottle of wine and made us a wonderful dinner. Throughout the stay their hospitality was amazing. The owner would not let us walk to the bus stop, instead he very kindly drove us all the way to Sidmouth in his own car! They really could not have done more for us!
