Offering a garden and garden view, East Hillerton House is located in Crediton, 13 km from Castle Drogo and 34 km from Lydford Castle. Initial contact via email made by host confirming directions etc. Large parking area outside. The hosts were welcoming and very friendly. Wonderful views of the open countryside. Nice and quiet location. The bed was amazingly comfy. The walk-in rain shower was something else and not just a trickle. Drinks, snacks and chocolates in the room. The price was very reasonable and the breakfast was spot-on (choose from a menu the night before and so ready at the allocated time).

The Hotel is very tucked away down the ned of a small lane - a beatiful old house in a very quiet location. THe hotel was very comfortable and our room was Large. The breakfast was very nicely cooked individually with all guests sitting around a large table - we all chatted about our days etc. We ate at a very old and pleasant pub as they do not serve dinner - only breakfast.

You can tell that it was made/designed with great care. Also Amy and Jared where so friendly. We had a lovely chat with Amy and we even got some of there chocolates to take home, so sweet!

Really friendly and nice owners who made us feel very welcome . Amazing location, with a beautiful big garden with outdoor seating and playing outdoor games and with a BBQ Which we used.

Set in 14 acres of outstanding natural beauty, this country house bed and breadkfast with cottages and a heated outdoor pool offers a relaxed atmosphere, professional service and luxurious... Our flight was delayed so we arrived after the restaurant closed. The owner and his wife made us welcome, even though they had closed for the night. They very kindly opened a bottle of wine and made us a wonderful dinner. Throughout the stay their hospitality was amazing. The owner would not let us walk to the bus stop, instead he very kindly drove us all the way to Sidmouth in his own car! They really could not have done more for us!
