We even cut our visit short so we could spend some extra time at the property. The kids loved the heated pool, and we loved the garden (and the pool too).

King Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn slept in one of the bedchambers and walked through the ancient gardens at Thornbury Castle - A Relais & Chateaux Hotel, a Tudor castle near the Cotswolds and Welsh... Not a hotel, but an experience. A definite recommendation.

The privacy curtain was a nice addition, and the bread and milk were very welcome upon arrival. Communication was great. We attended a wedding at Aldwick Estate and the location was perfect.
