What an amazing experience! We arrived late in the evening due to getting lost with all the road work/closures in the area but it was still not an issue for our host to be friendly and welcoming. There was even the most amazing chocolate cake for us on arrival! Would have been great to spend some quality time here.

The smooth check in and check out was excellent. You are very much left to it, however should you need any help with anything it is there when you require it and recieved warmly. The cottages are all very well placed and give the feeling of privacy as well as comfort in lovely surroundings. The bed was incredibly comfortable

King Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn slept in one of the bedchambers and walked through the ancient gardens at Thornbury Castle - A Relais & Chateaux Hotel, a Tudor castle near the Cotswolds and Welsh... Loved having a little bit of luxury and staying somewhere unique. The food of very high standard and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. Within a short walk from the local village with shops and pubs, and the local church overlooking was beautiful.

Although during the first day the WiFi got some issues, it has been solved very soon. What’s more, at the beginning I thought it will be very far from the city center, it’s actually won’t take long to get to the downtown area, and the transportation is convenient too. A very nice experience here!
