We regretted not having booked a longer stay at this wonderful establishment. The attention to detail in all matters of the accommodation are quite remarkable, really. The highlight of the cabin was definitely the fireplace. We had a relaxing experience during our stay at the cabin. This retreat has everything you need for a great stay. I was rejuvenated, reunited with nature and eager to return to this tranquil escape soon.
The animals right outside the cabin. The host was phenomenal. The wooden deck with lounge and braai area really gave it a true sense of uniqueness.
The cabin is secluded and has epic views. It is also super well equipped, every little detail from champagne glasses to a portable speaker was in the cabin. We made a lovely meal in the kitchen (which also has everything one could need) and had a fire going the entire night. It was quite cold on the day we arrived, but the host provided enough wood and the fireplace really warms up the cabin.
Our cottage was modern and well considered, the kitchen had everything we needed. Being there during winter it was very cold outside but with the little fireplace kept the cabin lovely and cosy. We had amazing views of the mountains and river. The hot tub was absolutely fabulous.
GUYS WEEKEND AWAY, STAYED IN A CHALET, FARMHOUSE CHARM, CLEAN AND WELL EQUIPPED, WARM BIG FIREPLACES, AMAZING LOCATION, INCREDIBLE VIEWS, SUPER OUTDOOR WALKS, FUN INDOOR ACTIVITIES LIKE TABLE TENNIS AND SNOOKER - THE HOST CINDY WAS REALLY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL, SHE WENT THE EXTRA MILE, MADE OUR STAY SUPER MEMORABLE. WOULD RECOMMEND AND WILL GO BACK.
We loved the fireplaces and the comfort. Everything in the accommodation was of exceptional quality and condition. There were so many amenities as well. The host was so friendly and helpful. There was an issue with our original accommodation and the host bumped us up to their luxury chalet
THE UNCOOKED BRAAI MEAT WE ORDERED WAS WAITING IN THE FRIDGE AND WAS DELICIOUS. ALTHUOGH WE ARRIVED IN THE DARK, ABOUT TWO HOURS LATE, WE WERE RECEIVED MOST POLITELY. WHEN WE WOKE AT DAWN WE WERE SURROUNDED BY AT LEAST SIX MILD -MANNERED GIRAFFES. OUR DOG WAS WARMLY WELCOMED. THE CHALETS WERE VERY CLEAN, WELL DESIGNED AND COMFORTABLE. WE WERE ADVISED WHEN TO EXPECT ELECTRICITY SHUTDOWNS AND WERE PROVIDED WITH TORCHES AND CANDLES. IT FELT AS THOUGH WE WERE TRULY FAR FROM THE MADDENING CROWD ALTHOUGH TOWN WAS ONLY TEN MINUTES AWAY.
The huts and the whole resort are very special, you really do feel a bit like you are in the jungle. The resort is located directly on the lagoon and there are kayaks and SUPs that you can rent for free. The cabins are perfectly equipped and very cosy and you can have a nice barbecue.
Absolutely stunning location, right on the beach. the chalet was spacious with every amenities including two large verandas - one overlooking the bay and the other sheltered by the milkwood branches. We had initially booked one of the cabins located on the second row from the beach, but upgraded to a beachfront one. Absolutely worth the extra cost! Plus for free use of kayaks and sups.
